Mandan sophomore standout Kelby Rinas turned in a dazzling seventh-place performance on Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis.
Running through warm and muggy conditions, Rinas posted a time of 18 minutes, 59 seconds, which was good for seventh out of 415 runners. The winning time of 18:13 was ran by Emily Covert of Minneapolis Washburn.
Team-wise, the Braves placed 40th out of 45 teams.
Other finishers were Maria Moore (174), Amaya Ramsey (299), Mindy Barchenger (304), Jaiden Horner (309) and Natasha Troxel (310).
Up next for the Braves is the Becki Wells Invite in Dickinson on Friday.
