John Loomis and Jim Bittner each sank holes-in-one over the weekend.
Loomis, the junior golf tournament coordinator for the Dakota Junior Golf Association in Bismarck, made an ace on hole No. 5 at Riverwood Golf Course in Bismarck. It was the second career hole-in-one for Loomis, who used a 7-iron through the wind on the 164-yard hole.
Matt Loomis, John's son, witnessed the shot.
Meanwhile, at Prairie West Golf Course in Mandan, Bittner made a bank shot, of sorts.
Bittner's hole-in-one deflected off rocks on hole No. 12 and into the cup. Bittner used a 3-wood on the par 3, 156-yard hole.
Witnesses were Jim Markel and J.R. Markel.
