The Bismarck 18U curling team posted a 7-0 record to win the state high school championship in Devils Lake last weekend.
The tournament featured teams from Fargo, Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Williston.
Prior to the state tournament, Bismarck competed at nationals in Bemidji, Minn.
The Bismarck team did not win any of their five games at nationals, but did have a pair of narrow losses. One of their defeats came by just one inch. They also dropped a game on the last rock of the matchup and fell by two points in another.
One of their losses came against the eventual bonspiel champion.
