BSC wins in five
Bismarck State outlasted Williston State 3-2 on Sunday in a Mon-Dak volleyball matchup.
The Mystics rallied out of a 2-1 deficit on the road to earn their 17th win of the season.
Lisa Doppler piled up 18 kills and 10 digs as the Mystics closed out the win 15-5 in the fifth game.
Caitlyn Inman connected for 10 kills, while Jessie Oja passed out 30 assists as BSC improved to 17-4 overall and 6-1 in the Mon-Dak. Sam Anklam turned up 18 digs.
The Mystics host Dawson County Community College on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
U-Mary, Sioux Falls tie
Megan Lowery's late goal ended up saving a point for the University of Mary on Sunday.
With less than three minutes left in regulation, Lowery headed home the equalizer off a pass from Cassidy Pierce. The game went to overtime before ending in a 1-all tie.
The Marauders (5-2-2 overall, 3-2-2 NSIC) peppered Sioux Falls keeper Morgan Perkins with 13 shots, but only one got through. Hannah Smith stopped four shots for the home team.
Up next for the Marauders is a road game on Tuesday at the University of Jamestown.
