WILDERNESS SWEEP AWAY BOBCATS
Six different players notched goals to help the Minnesota Wilderness sweep a weekend NAHL series from the Bismarck Bobcats on Saturday night.
Gino Lucia and Ryan Nelson scored first-period goals 13 seconds apart to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead.
Mitchell Walinski got Bismarck on the board at 8:14 of the second, but Isaac Moberg answered 27 seconds later for Minnesota to make it 3-1.
Just 27 seconds later, Alex Trombley got Bismarck back within a goal before Alex Spencer scored just less than four minutes later, giving the visitors a 4-2 lead going to the third.
Tyler Watkins scored 50 seconds into the third period and Andrew Troy added an empty-netter at 18:39 for Minnesota.
Jacob Schell made 29 saves for Minnesota. Johnny Roberts finished with 27 stops for the Bobcats.
