BOBCATS BOUNCE BACK FOR ROAD WIN
CLOQUET, Minn. -- The Bismarck Bobcats recovered from a shutout loss on Friday to defeat the Minnesota Wilderness in a Central Division NAHL game on Saturday night.
The Bobcats scored three times, twice on power plays, to take command 3-0 in the first 20 minutes. Mitchell Walinski, Michael Mahan and Grant Johnson garnered first-period markers.
C.J. Regula got the Wilderness on the scoreboard in the second period, but that was to be the only Minnesota goal of the night.
Andrew Bellant hit an empty net late in the third period for the Bobcats, who improved to 24-21-6 with the victory.
Ryan Ullan stopped 32 shots in the Bobcats net to pick up the win.
Bismarck has nine regular season games remaining, five at home.
