Pitchers Jeff Lindgren and JC Bonilla will be returning to the Bismarck Larks for the upcoming season.

Lindgren, a junior at Illinois State, tossed 26 1/3 innings in the inaugural season in the Northwoods League for the first-year franchise. He allowed 21 hits with a 3.03 earned run average, earning five saves with a 2-1 record.

Bonilla logged 36 2/3 innings and ranked in the top 10 in the Northwoods League in ERA at 2.45. He surrendered just 25 hits.

Both players are excited to return to Bismarck.

"I'm really missing everything about last summer from the fans to the host families to the coaching and management staff," Lindgren said.

"Next season I want to bring a championship to Bismarck," said Bonilla, who plays at Lackawanna College. "I feel like I owe you something because of the way you guys treated me and how you were always riding behind us."

The Larks' season begins on May 29 at home against Thunder Bay.
