VESCIO MAKES COMMITMENT

Bismarck Bobcats defenseman Tanner Vescio has announced he'll attend Northern Michigan of the Division I Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Vescio is the third current member of the Bobcats to commit to a Division I college. Previously, forward Grant Johnson decided on Northern Michigan and forward Adam Stacho chose American International College in Springfield, Mass.

"Tanner is a player who has great skill, vision and work ethic that makes him valuable on the ice, but his contributions as a character guy in our locker room have been just as important," Bobcats head coach and general manager Layne Sedevie said. "We know he'll be a valuable part of the (Northern Michigan) Wildcats."
