There has been a lot of talk about what is wrong with this country.
Football players won’t stand for the national anthem and that supposedly signals their disrespect for the anthem, our flag and our soldiers who died defending "us."
At the same time hundreds of "us" are dying at the hands of murderers who have no need for the weapons they will use to kill those innocent people. "I don’t care how many people die as long as I get to keep my assault weapons" would seem to be more of a danger to this country than "people need to be treated equally."
The Congress is saying that they will achieve their No. 1 priority in the tax overhaul. People will die because they don’t have insurance to pay for treatment. Others will get to create even more of a fortune than the already unnecessary one they have. "I don’t care how many people die or are left suffering as long as I get to increase my wealth" would seem to be a danger to this country.
Politicians make promises they have no intention of keeping. "Can you believe that those poor fools actually believe that I would look out for them before I look out for my own class?" as well as "You can tell them anything and they will believe it as long as you’re a celebrity" would seem to be a danger to this country.
Some people will divide "us" in order to distract "us" from realizing that "us" can only exist when everyone is included. "Keep 'them' at each other’s throats and they won’t realize that 'we' believe that 'we' are all that counts" would seem to be a danger to this country.
Countries thrive on "us" and die with "them." Nothing really too complicated.
