I've achieved an age that's up there with various ailments and passed my doctors' test to qualify for the blue disability tag on the mirror. Now that winter is here, I have a complaint that the signed locations in many places are treacherous with ice or piles of snow.
As one of our radio music luminaries says, "Drive safely!" It should be "Watch your step!" I am blessed with neuropathy in my feet and have fallen for one reason or another, which doesn't help my ambulatory confidence.
So I ask, please, try to keep the signed locations as free of ice and especially mounds of snow as practical for my well-being and others. I might add I've noticed quite a few residential sidewalks going unshoveled this year. I believe if you own or rent a residence you have the responsibility to keep the walkways clear for walkers and postal delivery.
Blessings and good fortune on those who do, thank you!
