To Gov. Doug Burgum, Sen. John Hoeven and Rep. Kevin Cramer, I hope your moral compass has been given enough of a whack that it's working again. I want to commend what Sen. Jeff Flake said recently. I can tell in his voice he was scared. Finally a Republican in our Congress has said what the president is doing is not acceptable.
I hope all of you will all consider saying how scary the president is. I am asking for you to stop looking away from President Donald Trump’s devastating words and actions. I am grateful for Flake's bravery and honesty when he stated, “When the next generation asks us, why didn't you do something? Why didn't you speak up? What are we going to say?”
The president is taking our country to a extremely scary place. Even my Republican friends and family members are in agreement that Trump's leadership is hurting our country. His actions are so clear that even my 10-year-old son calls out our president for his negative actions. So I can for sure say you very well are aware of Trump’s actions!
Pope Francis stated, “Health is not a consumer good but a universal right, so access to health services cannot be a privilege." Would Jesus take from the poor and give to the rich? Take away Medicaid and Medicare? I am aware of what is going on and my 10-year-old is aware as well. I hope all of you have an open town hall soon. I believe Cramer will.
