The Bismarck Tribune set a good precedent of preferring families over finances. The decision to allow Tribune workers to celebrate Christmas with their families instead of laboring is what is best for our community. I tend to believe the strengthening of family ties is more valuable than larger pa checks.
I am a carrier seven days a week at my apartment complex. Had their decision been otherwise, I would not have been able to accept an invite to a family gathering away from the city. The Bismarck Tribune made the right decision, choosing priority of family as well as respecting the Christmas message.
