North Dakota is on the verge of electing a congressman to replace Kevin Cramer, who is running for the U.S. Senate and who will soundly defeat Heidi Heitkamp in November. This is a unique opportunity for our state and we need to make the best possible choice for our next elected official for the U.S. House of Representatives.

That is why we support Kelly Armstrong, he is the best choice.

As a current District 36 senator, Armstrong’s track record of getting results for North Dakota -- not just proposing legislation -- is well-documented and is a trademark of his service to our state. Although Armstrong is among the most conservative district senators in North Dakota, he is also a master of building coalitions and bringing people together. He does so with his clear vision, his creative approach to problem-solving, and his firm grasp of the issues.

Armstrong is a natural leader with great integrity and inspires the confidence of his contemporaries, who often get behind him. You won't find him grabbing the headlines or taking credit; he would rather just know that the job is done, and done in the right way.

Kelly Armstrong has always been a champion for life, the Second Amendment, and private property rights. His legal background has guided him in the application of our founding documents and constitutional rights to any given piece of legislation, or the necessity of abandoning legislation due to constitutional grounds.

Having worked closely with Armstrong, it is easy to say that there is no one who will outwork him. There may be multiple choices as we enter the NDGOP convention in April, but there is a clear distinction between the contenders, and that is why we will stand strong for Kelly Armstrong.
