The North Dakota Department of Health’s Division of Medical Marijuana is looking for a laboratory interested in testing medical marijuana in North Dakota.
The state-approved laboratory will collect and test representative samples from a registered medical marijuana manufacturing facility. Each batch must be tested for microbiological contaminants, mycotoxins, pesticide active ingredients, residual solvent, heavy metals and active ingredient concentrations of tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol.
Those interested should sent a letter of intent to notify the Health Department of a laboratory’s interest to become an accredited laboratory capable of conducting the tests. Guidelines for the Letter of Intent can be found at: https://www.ndhealth.gov/mm/.
