FARGO (AP) - A West Fargo man whose sentence for threats against former President George W. Bush was overturned by a judge has been released from supervision.
Daniel Cvijanovich served 19 months in prison after a jury convicted him in 2007 of threats against the president. U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson earlier this month threw out the sentence and ordered a new trial after new evidence was discovered that might be favorable to Cvijanovich.
Erickson signed an order Wednesday that ends the final three months of Cvijanovich's three-year supervision.
Prosecutors have not decided whether to ask for a new trial.
