FARGO (AP) - The Fargo Police Department's emblem could be on tiny collectible cars if city commissioners approve.
California toy maker Mattel Inc. wants to use the department emblem on some of its cars. Police Chief Keith Ternes says it gives the department a sense of pride.
A Mattel spokesman says the emblems likely would be on the company's Hot Wheels or Matchbox 1/64-scale toys.
The city will get 200 of the toys in return, which will be distributed to officers on patrol and in schools.
