CASSELTON (AP) - Rail traffic should be back to normal by early Monday at the site of a train derailment in eastern North Dakota.

BNSF Railway spokesman Gus Melonas said no one was injured when 19 of 70 cars of a train went off the track three miles west of Casselton about 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

Melonas said the cars involved ended up on their side, upright or twisted. Among the freight spilled were lumber, canned peaches and a zinc-aluminum product that posed no environmental threat.

The train originated at Pasco, Wash., and was destined for Minneapolis.

Melonas said about 75 workers were at the scene to repair the track, which is traveled by 30 trains a day.
