WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - The president and chief executive of Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown is stepping down.

Paul Hanson said Thursday that he's resigning to become the president and CEO of North Country Health Services in Bemidji, Minn.

He's been at Prairie Lakes for nine years. He begins his job at North Country on Oct. 1.
