PEMBINA (AP) - Federal authorities say they arrested an international fugitive at the North Dakota border.
Customs and Border Protection officials say 44-year-old Nijaz Hodzic is wanted by Interpol for murder in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Officials say the truck driver was arrested April 10 at the Pembina port of entry and is a native of Bosnia-Herzegovina, but has been living in Milwaukee.
He was placed in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and taken to the Grand Forks County jail, where he is awaiting extradition.
