The price of gasoline in North Dakota has hit another record.

AAA says the statewide average pump price is $3.396 per gallon, about 2 cents more than the mark set last May when refinery problems limited gas supplies in the Midwest.

The automobile club says the current national average of around $3.418 also is a record.

AAA says the high prices are the result of soaring crude oil prices and unless there's a big change, more records are likely in the coming weeks.
