ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) - A Chatfield teenager has admitted harassing an African-American student by hanging a black doll from the rafters of the school auditorium last January.
The 17-year-old boy pleaded guilty to the felony during his first appearance in Olmsted County Juvenile Court Monday.
Under a plea agreement, all other counts were dismissed.
Judge Robert Birnbaum accepted the teen's plea. A disposition hearing is set for July 31.
The 16-year-old victim told officials after the doll hanging that she felt intimidated.
