State Health Department officials are taking public comments on emergency preparedness plans.

The Health Department set up videoconferencing sites across the state for Monday's public meeting. Director Tim Wiedrich said representatives of state, local and private agencies have worked hard on plans to respond to public health emergencies. He said it's important to make sure the public accepts those plans.
