Airline boardings at North Dakota's eight commercial airports dropped 3.8 percent in June from the previous year, Aeronautics Commissioner Gary Ness says.
Ness attributed the decline to several factors, including flight cancellations due to crew shortages.
Devils Lake, Dickinson and Williston were the only airports that saw boardings increase over the year. Dickinson had the biggest increase in both passengers (275) and percentage (63.8 percent).
Jamestown had the largest percentage decrease, at 16.9 percent. Fargo saw the largest drop in actual passengers, with 1,287.
