FARGO (AP) - A state Parole Board official says the board has denied parole for Kyle Bell on child molestation charges.
The charges are separate from Bell's conviction in the 1993 death of 11-year-old Jeanna North of Fargo. He was sentenced to life in prison in that case.
Bell had sought parole on charges involving the molestation of two other girls. Assistant Parole Board Clerk Pat Bohn says the board denied Bell's request because of the seriousness of the crimes.
Bohn says Bell's next chance for parole will be in November 2050, involving his 1999 murder conviction in Jeanna North's death. Bell is in a maximum-security federal prison in Colorado.
