Theodore Raymond Lippert, 88, Bismarck, passed away Dec. 4, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck, with his family by his side. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck, with The Rev. Terry Wipf officiating.

Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Ted was born May 2, 1929, in New Leipzig, to Gottlieb and Ida (Dietz) Lippert. He grew up on the family farm and attended Loren Township School. Ted enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Samuel Air Force Base, N.Y., then onto Chanute Air Force Base in Chicago.

Ted was a member of the American Legion, Eagles, Amvets, and was a life-time member of the NRA and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his partner, Tilli Emineth, Bismarck; three daughters, Shari (Rodney) Pettys, Jamestown, Cynthia Dutke, Bismarck, and Sarah (Alan) Mayer, New Salem; one son, Tim Lippert, St. Anthony; one sister, Sandi (Bruce) Fuchs, Bismarck; one brother, Delbert Lippert, Pierre, S.D.; seven grandchildren, Shane, Angela, Quentin Pettys, London and Gracie Lippert, and Tiffany and Tanner Dutke; three great-grandchildren, McKenna, Kayden, and Norah Pettys; and two nieces, Jolene Nelson and Jessica Fuchs.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lester Lippert; and infant grandson.
