GARRISON — Lenora Landsiedel, 79, Garrison, died Dec. 7, 2012, at her son’s home in Salem, Ore. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at First Congregational Church, U.C.C., Garrison, with the Rev. Steve Holmes officiating. Burial will be at Garrison Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at First Congregational Church,  Garrison.

Pallbearers will be Larry Seidler, Richard Seidler, Allan Fetzer, Lyle Landsiedel, Darren Landsiedel and Keith Landsiedel.

Lenora was born Feb. 13, 1933, along with twin sister, Lorraine, to Benjamin and Emelie (Buechle) Fetzer near Max, where she was raised and educated. She was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church, U.C.C.

On June 19, 1955, she married Virgil Landsiedel in Garrison and they made their home in Underwood, where Lenora was a homemaker. In 1964, they moved to Garrison, where she had a daycare for over 25 years, caring for many children in the Garrison community.

Lenora enjoyed quilting, making many quilts for her children and grandchildren, gardening and canning many fruits and vegetables for the long winters. She was an avid baker, loved to travel to see her sons, daughter and grandchildren, and was always doing things with her twin sister.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharlene Ward, Weatherford, Okla.; three sons, Terry, Rosamond, Calif., Roger, Aurora, Colo., and Lynn (Brenda Miska), Salem, Ore.; five grandchildren, Michelle Mespelt (Aaron), Salem, Ore., Steven Ward, Weatherford, Okla., Christopher Ward, Lakewood, Colo., Ryan Landsiedel, Salem, Ore., and Cody Landsiedel, Aurora, Colo.; one brother, Erwin Fetzer (Judy), Surrey; two sisters, Lorraine Seidler, Coleharbor, and Glorraine Thomas (Richard), Everett, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; one son, Steven; her parents, Benjamin and Emelie Fetzer; five brothers, Edwin, Rueben, LeeRoy, Alvin and Harold Fetzer; and three sisters, Leona Haupt, Betty Sayler and Ruby Weideman.
