Lana Marie Nauman, 43, Mandan, slipped gently into the peace of eternity with her husband and two sons by her side, at Sanford Health, Fargo, on July 19, 2013. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, with Monsignor Chad Gion officiating. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.

The family will greet friends and family one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Lana was born Jan. 13, 1970, in Bismarck, to John and Beverly (Hogue) Jahner. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, where she graduated from high school. Lana loved being a caregiver to all her family and friends, but especially to her husband and two sons. She enjoyed cooking, Bingo, lunch with family and friends and watching her sons drive in derbies.

Lana is lovingly remembered for her “heart of gold” and is survived by her husband of 25 years, Steve Nauman, whom she married in Bismarck, and two sons, Scott and Cole Nauman, all of Mandan; her mother, Beverly (Hogue) Jahner, Bismarck; and her sisters, brothers, several aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Jahner; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Herman and Darlene Nauman.
