Katherine H. Price, 58, Mandan, died March 5, 2011, at Medcenter One, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Calvary Free Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Kerry Stastny officiating. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.
Katherine was born May 20, 1952, at Williston, to Jens P. and Minnie May (Foster) Lund. She graduated from Stanton High School and attended Interstate Business College and Bismarck Junior College. On May 8, 1977, she married Patrick Price. He passed away on Sept. 13, 1998. Katherine worked in highway construction as a flagger, as a bookkeeper for Walter’s trucking business, as a semi-truck driver, in a nursing home and at the State Capitol in Bismarck. She enjoyed attending rodeos, going on hayrides, and knitting sweaters for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friends.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Minerva (Michael) Hoffmann, Denhoff, Pamela Kennedy (Tony Mealer), Bismarck, and Correen Falcon and Lenny Caron, Mandan; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Darlene and Larry Slingsby, Williston, Joy Rutter, Concord, N.C., and Jodie and Jim Howard, Hamilton, Mont.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Kermit and Lori Lund, Mandan, and Frank Lund, Williston; seven grandchildren, Lee Wahl, Bo Lund, Tierra Falcon, Lyndsay Falcon, Shawn Price Jr., Dedra Zephier and Patrick Price III; seven great-grandchildren, Jaden Wahl, Makiyah Wahl, Liliana Lund, Phoenix Lund-Hoffmann, Gabriel Marquez, Alana Humphrey and Patrick Price IV; special friend, Walter Moos; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Shawn Price, Patrick Price Jr. and Bill Falcon; one daughter, Patty Price; and one brother, Tom Lund. (Perry Funeral Home, Mandan)
