One to two inches of snow is expected today through Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Bismarck. About 1.5 inches of snow blanketed the area on Monday.
Areas of blowing snow with wind gusts up to 40 mph likely will develop early this evening in western Morton, Grant and western Sioux counties, as well as further west in North Dakota. Travel hazards are possible as visibility is reduced.
Glen Ullin registered the coldest temperatures overnight, dropping to 5 degrees. Bismarck and Mandan saw 9 and 10 degrees respectively. The high today was expected to reach 25 degrees.
