Work begins Monday to replace an overhead sign on Interstate 94 west of the Grant Marsh Bridge in Mandan resulting in lane closures.

Starting at 7 p.m. Monday, one lane of the westbound road will be closed for a few hours to allow for the work. On Wednesday, both westbound lanes will be temporarily closed beginning at 2 a.m. for a brief period.

Motorists should expect delays during the project. Speeds will be reduced to 40 mph, a 12-foot width restriction will be in place and flaggers will be present.

For more information about construction projects and road conditions throughout North Dakota, call 511 from any type of phone or visit the Travel Information Map on the NDDOT website at: http://www.dot.nd.gov/travel-info-v2/l.
