State behavioral health and corrections and rehabilitation reps will meet this week to discuss the new Free Through Recovery program.

The meeting is from 1 from 3 p.m. Wednesday in Room B at the Quality Inn at 1030 E. Interstate Ave. in Bismarck.

Free Through Recovery is a state program helping inmates access addiction treatment and mental health care.

Wednesday's agenda includes an overview of the program and participant guidelines. The event is open to the public.

Free Through Recovery is in line with first lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum's platform of addiction treatment, which launched Recovery Reinvented in September.
