The North Dakota Department of Human Services is accepting comments on proposed changes to the Medicaid waiver that funds home and community-based services for children who are considered medically fragile.
The waiver serves children ages 3 to 18 who have a serious illness or condition that is medically complex and requires prolonged care. The agency's medical services division is proposing to increase the number of slots under the waiver from 15 to 25.
The department is accepting comments until Feb. 15. For more information, visit www.nd.gov/dhs/info/pubs/medical.html.
