Incumbents on Mandan's city commission and park board have been met with several challengers for their seats in this year's election.

Mandan city commissioners Shauna Laber and Dennis Rohr are seeking re-election to the two seats up for grabs. Challenging them are Ashley Kelsch, Amber Larson and Bee Maloney.

Four candidates are jostling for three seats on Mandan's park board. They include incumbents Jason Arenz and Chad Hatzenbuhler as well as Jan Fasching and Miles Mehlhoff.

Bob Leingang is the only incumbent running uncontested for re-election in Mandan's election cycle this year. He represents Mandan for the Southwest Water Authority.

Mandan city administrator Jim Neubauer said a random drawing on Wednesday will determine each candidate's name position on the ballot.

North Dakota's city elections will be determined from the results of the June 12 primary.
