The Mandan School District has been approved for a Bank of North Dakota school construction loan for the Red Trail Elementary School.
The Mandan School Board reviewed the loan during Monday night’s board meeting.
The loan, which will total more than $11 million, will be finalized by Aug. 1. It will cover 90 percent of the school’s cost and the balance will be made by selling bonds, according to Superintendent Mike Bitz.
The board nominated members Tim Rector and Donna Fishbeck to remain as board chairman and vice chairman, respectively.
The next board meeting is July 15.
