The annual March Mobility Madness Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, hosted by Dreams in Motion, will be held at 1 p.m. March 18 at the Mandan Middle School.
The tournament is a competitive, double-elimination wheelchair basketball tournament open to able-bodied and mobility challenged players. Among the teams signed up to play are the University of Mary Physical Therapy students, Zion Lutheran Church, Minot’s Prairie Grit and Hunter’s Roughriders. No experience is needed, wheelchairs and equipment are provided and expert coaching will be available. Registration is available online at http://dreamsinmotioninc.com.
Dreams in Motion is a local nonprofit providing adaptive sports programs to individuals with mobility challenges or visual impairments.
