Alleged events from a single day have landed a handful of criminal charges involving children against a Mandan woman.
Lucinda Marie Decora-Jordan, 48, is charged in separate cases with misdemeanor driving under the influence while accompanied by a minor, felony child neglect or abuse as well as misdemeanor counts of harboring a runaway minor and driving under suspension.
Around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 21, Mandan Police met her on a welfare check, where she had allegedly thrown a stereo and a plant at a 12-year-old boy.
In the evening, officers took a report of a runaway 12-year-old girl whose mother said was at Decora-Jordan's home.
Decora-Jordan had allegedly driven to and from Bismarck while intoxicated with the girl in her vehicle.
The girl was returned to her mother. Officers arrested Decora-Jordan for DUI around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21. She has been held at the Burleigh-Morton County Detention Center since then.
Court documents indicate Decora-Jordan appeared intoxicated in her two encounters with officers the day of her arrest.
