A Bismarck man reported Saturday his Pomeranian was stolen from his residence on the 3000 block of North Colorado Drive in Bismarck.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said the man had put his Pomeranian in its heated doghouse within a kennel along his residence.

Sometime between 3 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, the dog was reportedly stolen after its owner checked on the pet. The owner told police the gate to the fenced area was unlatched and pulled out, with footprints from the sidewalk to his residence.

The dog is cream in color with a red collar. Its name, sex and age were not available.
