Contents of a backpack found on school grounds reportedly tested positive for methamphetamine.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said a South Central High School janitor found the backpack Tuesday afternoon in a fenced dumpster area at the school.

Inside were a water jug with chunky material and a bottle with a hole cut in the bottom and rimmed with electrical tape.

Presuming the backpack to contain a mobile meth lab, Bismarck Police were called and the contents of the backpack were tested, resulting in a positive finding for meth.

The case is under investigation.
