Mandan police say eight vehicles have been entered and one vehicle window broken since Saturday.

Items taken from vehicles included a GPS, an iPod, an iPhone, sunglasses, a backpack, and a $600 gold and diamond ring. None of the vehicles had sign of forced entry, and several had been rummaged through but had nothing stolen.

The incidents occurred in the southeast and northwest parts of town.

Bismarck police had 10 similar reports over the weekend.

The Mandan Police Department urges people to keep vehicles locked and to remove expensive items. Anyone with information about the incidents should call the Mandan Police Department at 701-667-3250.
