Mandan police have arrested a juvenile in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station.
Sgt. Jay Gruebele said an employee at Unistop, 1410 Collins Ave., reported at 10:39 p.m Tuesday that a younger male had entered the store, displayed a handgun and requested cigarrettes and cash. Gruebele said the initial police report did not contain a detailed description of the suspect but police were pursuing surveillance video.
The robber ran southbound from the store after the incident with an undisclosed amount of cash, Gruebele said. Responding officers did not locate him at the time of the report.
Gruebele issued a statement shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday stating a juvenile had been taken into custody.
Gruebele said he could not release further information, citing the on-going investigation.
