A rural Bismarck couple faces numerous charges related to the sale of marijuana at a high school.

Johnathan Charles Holzer, 44, is charged with felony counts of conspiracy to deliver marijuana and child neglect as well as misdemeanor contributing to the deprivation or delinquency of a minor.

Jessica Dawn Dee Holzer, 39, is charged with felony child neglect and misdemeanor counts of contributing to the deprivation or delinquency of a minor and facilitation of delivery of marijuana.

Court documents allege they packaged marijuana for a 16-year-old student to sell to other students at a Bismarck high school from their home on Bar-D Road in rural Burleigh County.

The student was arrested twice earlier this fall on drug charges. He allegedly had drugs in his possession and had shared images of marijuana among students by utilizing a messenger app. Interviews with students and data from his phone reportedly led investigators to the Holzers.

Jessica Holzer allegedly gave prescription pills and cigarettes to the student, as well, though those items were not being sold at the school.

Johnathan Holzer has a criminal history involving methamphetamine.
