Bismarck police have identified a woman killed in an early Saturday morning crash as Miranda Scherr of Mandan.

Scherr, 33, was driving near the 1100 block of West Main Avenue at 8:35 a.m. Saturday when her vehicle left the road and collided with the BNSF Railway train bridge abutment.

Scherr, the only person involved in the crash, was declared dead at a Bismarck hospital.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Tim Krous said the crash remains under investigation.
