Two Bismarck residents were arrested on robbery charges Thursday after allegedly assaulting a man in a moving vehicle, robbing him and dumping him on a residential street.
Jason Charles Antelope, 30, and Theresa Zapata, 31, were charged Friday with Class C felony conspiracy to commit robbery robbery. Zapata also was charged with Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson set bond for each of them at $3,000 cash.
Bismarck Police Officer Pat Renz said the incident happened around 12:24 p.m. Thursday as a vehicle was traveling south on North 19th Street after leaving K-Mart.
Renz said a 41-year-old Mandan man reported he was driving with three acquaintances when one person grabbed him and a second person began punching him in the face and head.
The man reported he was robbed of $60 and his cell phone, and the other occupants dumped him from the vehicle along the 500 block of North 14 Street. Renz said the man provided police with an address on Portland Drive, and, after obtaining a search warrant, police arrested two people.
Renz said Antelope and Zapata were arrested at approximately 6 p.m.
Renz a said a third person at the residence, a female, was not arrested.
