A Bismarck man has been charged in the stabbing of a Mandan man.

Wes Cody, 29, was charged Friday with Class C felony counts of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

He is slated to make an initial court appearance on Monday.

Mandan police responded to a report of a stabbing shortly after midnight Saturday. A 32-year-old was transported by ambulance to St. Alexius Medical Center from a home on the 1300 block of Monte Drive for stab wounds to his neck and upper arm area, police said Thursday.

A responding officer saw two men running from the area. Both were identified, and one was considered a suspect in the stabbing.

The victim of the stabbing has been released from the hospital.
