Police believe a man who said he wanted to warm up in a laundromat smashed the glass on a vending machine inside and stole candy.

Bismarck Police Lt. Mike Wardzinski said an employee at King Koin Launderette, 2125 E. Thayer Ave., spoke to a man outside the business at 8:40 a.m. Sunday. The man wanted to go inside and warm up, and the employee said that was OK.

The employee, who was cleaning the parking lot, saw the man leave a little while later. Upon going back inside, the employee noticed glass had been broken on vending machines, Wardzinski said.

He said it appears some candy was stolen. Police are trying to get surveillance footage of the incident.

Wardzinski said there was a similar incident last week, in which someone stole money from a vending machine at a truck stop. It is not known whether the incidents were related.

So you want the police to just look the other way to drinking and driving. You could be the next victim of a drunk driver. Wonder(if you could) what your comment would be then.Maybe you should walk in thier shoes before you speak your mind. It always looks GREENER on the other side. Most of the time not. "

John Henry...instead of 'hearing me' perhaps you should actually read what I wrote. I never said the Police should look the other way to drinking and driving or underage drinking...I said 'that's all they do'. I know it's asking alot of you to read what is wrote and then comprehend it but that's what big boys do, give it a shot sometime.

It's so obvious that this crime was committed by a White woman. They sure like their candy, welfare, meth, and jug wine.

And they call themselves police. all they do is bust underage drinkers and drunks...top notch crew they got. "
