The 2018 St. Mary’s Central High School Carnival is in the books, and more than 1,400 individuals donated their time and talents to helping make the annual event a success.

“It takes a lot of volunteers to execute this carnival,” said Jan Carter, event chairperson. “It’s the volunteers that make it happen, and I’m so thankful for them.”

The carnival was “well attended,”  with 3,177 meals served over the course of three days, according to Carter,

No word, yet, on the total proceeds, but the money will be used to fund Catholic education in Bismarck.

This year’s raffle winners are: Dodge Challenger - Joan Eckroth; 55-inch TV - Shanda Wilhelmy; Weber grill - Gary Gustin; iPad - Keylee Hertz Barnett; Beats headphones - Byron Hoag; Fitbit - Pary Thomas; Amazon Echo - Thomas Thompson; $100 gas gift cards - Daniel Senger, Charles Miska and Carmen Sorenson; $100 Walmart gift cards - Pat Lavery, Rob Spaedy and Leon Uhrich.
