Records for the lowest daily high temperature were broken around the state Saturday but a gradual warm up will greet residents throughout the week.

Temperatures are expected to peak out at 0 degrees Monday but will climb back into the 20s for the coming weekend, said Rick Krolach of Bismarck's National Weather Service.

There will be a slight drop Wednesday to highs between 5 and 10 degrees in Bismarck.

No records were broken Sunday.
