A tradition at Shiloh Christian School is the tossing of the mortarboards, as practiced here in 2016, to officially end graduation ceremonies.

This school year marked significant growth for Shiloh Christian School, a private, pre-K-12 school in Bismarck.

Enrollment is up 10 percent at Shiloh, with 476 students for the 2017-18 school year. The school also is seeing other changes, including equipping all high school students with Chromebooks and opening a new portable weight training center.

The Shiloh Christian School Board approved a new teacher compensation plan this past spring. The teacher compensation plan will provide Shiloh teachers with salaries competitive with the neighboring Class B schools. This plan is one of the board's goals over the next four years.

Additionally, the school also kept tuition the same as last year, with tuition ranging from $6,200 to $7,525 a year, depending on the grade.
