Because of problems with the Bismarck Tribune’s heating system that impacted the press the publication of the Tuesday paper was delayed.
Fans that circulate warm air quit, resulting in a drop in the temperature in the pressroom. This caused the air valves to freeze up and the press wouldn’t run.
The Tribune has been working to resolve the problem and hopes to be back to normal operations.
Most Bismarck-Mandan readers should have received their Tribune. However, if you didn’t receive a Tuesday Tribune it was being delivered with the Wednesday Tribune. Readers outside Bismarck-Mandan were receiving a paper on Wednesday.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
