Bismarck Public Schools will be hosting a series of bullying informational presentations this month, with the first session being held next week.
After some parents voiced concerns about bullying in the district, the Bismarck School Board decided to convene an Anti-Bullying Task Force to examine the district's bullying policy.
The group met four times from November to January and presented its recommendations to the board late last month.
Among the recommendations was a proposal to hold the bullying presentations. These will be held 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Simle Middle School, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 20 at Horizon Middle School and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 26 at Wachter Middle School.
There will be six task force members who will sit on a panel at the sessions. A question-and-answer session will be held after the presentations.
